For anyone that thought the Gazelle was too overbuilt, adidas have come through with the goods. Although we're dubious on the idea that anybody would've found the Gazelle to be too bulky, the deconstructed idea works pretty well on this indoor classic.

With less reinforcement the uppers take on a glove-like build, with the soft suede moulding to your foot in ways that you could barely comprehend. An added bonus is the increased ability to wear these like a slip-on, although whether that's sane or not is a decision you can make yourself.
